Where is my mind?

Wow, I've not written in a long time. Working full-time plus having school full-time leave me with precious little free time. Doh! I don't think I've even opened my RSS reader in nearly a week.

I do have some stuff I've written for one my classes that is probably postable here, which I may do. It almost reads like a biochem research paper, though the material itself is actually pretty interesting, and not dull at all. I've also been doing quite a bit of reading about cancer biomarkers and the coming dynamics of biologic drugs, which we're already seeing the beginnings of now.

So I do have stuff I want to write about, but I just don't have the time right now. I am going to post one real post today however, so stay tuned…

  1. [...] About two months ago, I found my calling. That may sound trite, but it rings true. Two months ago, I was assigned to write a research paper on any one of a bunch of given topics. I chose the ADAM12 urine test, which I actually mentioned here. This brought me back to biochem. Dreaded biochem. But instead of being horrible and awful, the science was fascinating. I had more fun writing that research paper than I have had doing any other assignment, ever. (Coincidentally, I got a 99/100 — the highest grade that professor has ever given.) [...]
